Cable dome is a type of prestressed self-balancing system that has the whole idea of tension and has a simple aesthetics, a novel form, and a high structural efficiency. Therefore, combined with the cable dome structure of Tianjin University of Science and Technology Gymnasium, it introduces its engineering characteristics and breakthroughs in innovation.
