The quality of the PAN precursor is the key factor to obtain carbon fibers with good performance. It has become one of the important factors that control the development of our country’s carbon fiber. In this thesis, the development and current research situation of PAN precursor are mainly introduced. Also, the development of spinning method and solvent used in the spinning technology are introduced.
