hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent(DES)composed of menthol and lactic acid was synthesized.Its structure was charac-terized using FT-IR,differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetry analysis(DSC-TGA)etc.The viscosity,refractive index,vola-tility,density,surface tension,conductivity and the DES′s solubility in different organic solvents were measured,respectively.Exper-imental results showed that the DES had the characteristic of good hydrophobicity,low viscosity,wide dissolution in other organic substances.It is miscible with methanol,ethanol,acetone,toluene,dimethyl sulfoxide,cyclohexane,methyl esters and epoxy fatty acid methyl esters in wide range of proportions.Based on the hydrophobic properties of the DES,an extraction of lactic acid by men-thol in a lactic acid aqueous solution was investigated.Experimental results indicated that lactic acid concentration in the lactic acid aqueous solution was remarkedly decreased by forming menthol-lactic acid DES.%研究了薄荷醇-乳酸低共熔溶剂(deep eutectic solvent,DES)的合成.采用红外光谱FT-IR、差示扫描量热-热重分析DSC-TGA等手段对DES结构和性质进行了表征,并测试了所合成DES的粘度、折光率、挥发性、密度、表面张力、电导率及其与分子溶剂的互溶性.实验结果表明,薄荷醇-乳酸DES憎水性好、粘度小、对其他物质的溶解范围宽,在常温下可与甲醇、乙醇、丙酮、甲苯、二甲基亚砜、环己烷、脂肪酸甲酯和环氧脂肪酸甲酯等有机物在比例较宽的范围内互溶.借鉴薄荷醇-乳酸DES的憎水性,考察了薄荷醇对乳酸-水混合溶液中的乳酸的萃取性能,在形成薄荷醇-乳酸DES的同时,使乳酸-水混合溶液中乳酸的浓度大幅度下降.
