China has entered a new stage of urbanization with rapid development, during this process, many city problems occur. What’s worse, as a consequence of lacking of considering of the cultural identity and cultural connotations, the current phenomenon in China that "thousands of the cities become the same", gets more and more serious. However, France has gotten outstanding achievements in the terms of urban conservation. Hence, the case studies of French urbanization are significant. The paper selects Paris, Lile and Cannes as the three representative French cities as case studies, to respectively provide valuable experiences in the terns of new towns planning, urban renewal and city brand.%中国已经全面进入了城镇化高速发展时期，在这个过程中，由于规划工作没有充分考虑到地方特色和文化内涵，导致“千城一面”的现象愈演愈烈，成为亟待解决的问题。而法国对城市文化及其历史的保护有着不俗的成就，因此对法国的城市规划案例进行研究对我国城镇化发展具有重大意义。选取三个法国城市——巴黎大区、里尔、戛纳作为案例，分别从新城规划、旧城改造以及城市品牌打造三个角度为中国城镇化建设提供经验。
