In the exploration process on architectural heritage preservation, Hongkong has made a lot of efforts on how to keep the values and vitality of architectural heritage, especially for common historic buildings and historical environment in rapid urbanization. These practices try to solve the living problem in land-scarce Hongkong, and also to create a livable environment and continue the city and the historical and cultural traditions along with the sustainable development.
