徽州民居是徽州建筑的主体，其内部的结构、格局、装饰和空间并非一成不变，其中最重要也是最显著的变化当属底层愈趋高敞。追溯徽州住居建筑的起源及楼居到地居的演变过程，分析这一过程中经济、社会、文化、宗教等因素，定量比较了宅内楼上与楼下的热环境舒适度，旨在说明徽州古民居由楼居到地居是文化内涵与技术因素共同作用的结果。%As the Huizhou main building type--residential, their internal structure, pattern, decoration and space is not immutable and frozen, but a continuous evolution process. One of the most important and the most significant change is the underlying increasingly high open process. This paper introduces the origin of Huizhou housing and"living from upstairs to downstairs" evolution, not only discusses the factors of economic, social, cultural, religious and other implications of this process, the thermal environment and quantitative analysis and comparison of the upstairs and downstairs interior comfort. To explain the phenomenon of"down"is a common technique and function of culture factors.
