The sixth committee meeting of the Famous Historic and Cultural City Committee of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies was held in Beijing,the convening of the meeting is in the period of the economic transition,cultural renaissance and urbanization transition in China,and the Famous Historic and Cultural City Committee will face more important responsibilities and more glorious missions from now on.After analyzing the three changes in the committee of this session,the meeting determines five methods：collect the experience of all the regions,integrate academic power,strive for economic resources,offer advices to senior level for decision-making and serve primary level leaders,to unite more forces to protect and use famous cities,towns and villages for effective service,cherish traditional culture and realize cultural renaissance.%中国城市科学研究会历史文化名城委员会第六次全体委员会议在北京召开,会议的召开正值我国经济转型、文化复兴、城市化建设转型时期,名城委今后的责任更加重大,使命更加光荣。在分析了这届名城委的三个改变后,指出了五种工作方法：汇集各地的经验,整合学术的力量,争取经济资源,献计于高层决策,服务于基层领导,以团结更多的力量为保护和利用名城、名镇、名村有效进行服务,珍惜传统文化,实现文化复兴。
