The paper gives an account about what is being done by China’s construction material sector over the last years in the utilization of industrial solid wastes and new technology R&D. It is suggested that relevant policies be worked out, different channels be opened up so as to have as much financing and funding as the sector needs, construction material enterprises of proper economic scale be erected, technical innovation be encouraged and other auxiliary measures be perfected so as to stimulate the utilization of industrial solid wastes and improve the enterprises’ economic profit.
