With the rapid development of modern information technology, based on the survey data of Guangdong mangrove of 2002, and getting the investigation of Guangdong coastal mangrove comprehensively for the first time by analyzing through TM satellite image interpretation and making field survey of the Guangdong coastal mangrove through GPS topographic map. This paper will analyze and evaluate the development of the mangrove of coastal areas in Guangdong Province from advantages and disadvantages based on the results of the survey.%在现代信息技术快速发展的背景下，以2002年广东红树林调查为基础数据，通过采用TM卫星影像进行解译分析，并且有效结合GPS地形图对广东沿海红树林地区进行实地勘察，根据调查的结果对广东省沿海红树林从发展的优势和劣势方面进行分析评估。
