水位变动与坡顶加载联合作用下边坡破坏特性

         

摘要

Study on failure mechanism of slopes under joint effect of water level change and vertical loading is of great significance to establish a reasonable method to evaluate slope stability.Centrifuge modeling is adopted to simulated the loading condition of water level changing first and vertical loading next. The failure mechanism was investigated based on the test results. During the process of rising water level, the settlement of the slope increased and the deformation of the slope developed. then under the surface loading, the settlement continued to increase and the damage continued to accumulate. Accumulated damage eventually led to the development of slope failure.Local failure occurred in the process of vertical load increasing. The slip surface developed from the top of the slope to the bottom. The failure mode was shear failure. The development of deformation localization resulted in the local failure of the slope,while local damage failure further promoted the development of deformation localization.The process of coupled development of slope the deformation localization process and the coupling development of local failure process under water change and vertical loading, resulted in the overall destruction failure of the slope under joint effect of water level change and vertical loading.%水位变化与坡顶加载联合作用下土坡破坏特性研究对建立合理的边坡稳定性评价方法具有重要意义.采用离心模型试验的方法,模拟了首先水位上升随后坡顶荷载对土坡的联合作用,研究了此条件下土坡的破坏机理.在水位上升过程中土坡的坡顶沉降不断增加,土坡内出现变形损伤;然后施加坡顶荷载,土坡的坡顶沉降继续增加,土坡发生了渐进破坏.在水位上升已经完成、坡顶荷载增加的过程中滑裂面形成,滑裂面从土坡上部向下部发展.土坡的破坏形式为剪切破坏.变形局部化发展使得局部破坏发生,而局部破坏进一步促进了变形局部化发展.水位及坡顶荷载联合作用下土坡变形局部化过程和局部破坏耦合发展,导致了土坡最终发生了整体破坏.
