ObjectiveTo observe and study the clinical effect and safety of Levetiracetam in the treatment of intractable epilepsy.Methods44 patients with intractable epilepsy, who were treated in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2014, were retrospectively analyzed with 6 to 12 months follow-up. To observe the clinical effect and adverse reaction.Results The clinical total effective rate of Levetiracetam in the treatment of intractable epilepsy was 50%, the effective rate in children epilepsy was significantly higher than which in adult epilepsy, while the differences of clinical effect in patients with partial seizure epilepsy and generalized seizure epilepsy was no statistical significance. The incidence of adverse reactions was 6.8% without severe adverse reaction.Conclusion Levetiracetam in the treatment of children epilepsy has higher clinical effective rate, higher clinical safety, less adverse reaction, is worthy of clinical popularization and application.%目的：观察和探讨左乙拉西坦治疗难治性癫痫的临床疗效及安全性。方法回顾性分析我院于2013年1月～2014年1月收治的44例难治性癫痫患者，随访6～12个月，观察其临床疗效及不良反应。结果左乙拉西坦治疗难治性癫痫的临床总有效率为50%，治疗少儿癫痫的有效率显著高于成人组，对部分性发作和全面性发作的癫痫病的临床疗效无显著性差异。无严重不良反应的发生，不良反应的发生率为6.8%。结论左乙拉西坦治疗少儿癫痫时，临床有效率高，临床安全性高，不良反应少，值得临床推广应用。
