Reviewing and developing the state experimental teaching demonstration center (SETDC) is required by ministry of education. According to the experiences accumulated during the development of the SETDC, the thinking of experimental reformation, experimental teaching idea, management system, and reform measures during the development of the SETDC have been introduced. The experience discussed here will provide the example and reference for the development of the SETDC and experimental teaching reformation, create good experimental teaching environment, stimulate students’ independence and motivation, ensure experimental teaching effect, and improve students’ innovation capability.% 针对教育部评审和建设高等院校国家级实验教学示范中心的要求，根据中心在国家级示范中心建设工作中积累的经验，阐述了中心建设过程中的实验改革思路、实验教学理念及管理体制、改革措施等，以期能为相关高校实验室建设和实验教学改革等借鉴，创造良好的实验教学环境，激发学生实验探索的自主性和积极性，保障实验教学效果，提高学生创新能力。
