Objective To investigate the current situation of drugs storage in the outpatient Western medicine pharmacy of our hospital and its improvement measures. Methods The current storage situation of 820 kinds of drug in the outpatient Western medicine phar-macy was investigated and analyzed by combining with the drug instruction,the irrational storage situation was summarized and the corresponding improvement measures were put forward. Results The temperature in the outpatient Western medicine pharmacy was 16- 25 ℃and the humidity was 45% -73% without direct sunlight;1 kind (0. 12% ) of drug required cryopreservation (﹤ 0 ℃),47 kinds (5. 73%)of drug required the placement in the refrigerator(0-8 ℃),125 kinds(15. 61%)of drug required the conservation in the cool warehouse,253 kinds(30. 85%)of drug required the conservation under the condition of below 25 ℃ and 389 kinds(47. 44%) of drug had no special requirement for temperature;in the time of storage,the storage life for most types of drug was 2 years and 3 years,which were 304 kinds(37. 07%)and 113 kinds(13. 78%)respectively. Conclusion The drug storage in the outpatient Western medicine pharmacy of the hospital is basically standard,but there are still some problems. The management should be further strength-ened for conducting further improvement and ensuring the drug quality and medication safety of patients.%目的：探讨门诊西药房药品的储存现状及其改进措施。方法结合药品说明书，对医院门诊西药房820种药品的储存现状进行调查分析，总结不合理储存情况，并提出相应的改进措施。结果门诊西药房温度为16~25℃，相对湿度为45%~73%，无日光直射；需冷冻保存（﹤0℃）的药品1种（0.12%），需置冰箱中冷藏（0~8℃）的药品47种（5.73%），需阴凉库保存（0~20℃）的药品125种（15.61%），需在低于25℃条件下保存的药品253种（30.85%），对温度无特殊要求的药品389种（47.44%）；在储存年限中，储存年限2年及3年的药品种类最多，分别为304种（37.07%）和113种（13.78%）。结论医院门诊西药房药品储存基本规范，但仍存在一些问题，应进一步加强管理，以保证药品质量和患者的用药安全。
