In order to further understand the existing security situation of in use simple elevator, a comprehensive statistical analysis of simple elevator defect species and occurrence probability of failure with different manufacturing period and different using conditions, and reasons of simple elevator fault are analyzed. According to defects of in use simple elevator found in periodic inspection, using investigation situation of users, breakdown maintenance situation, and typical equipment use tracking situation, this paper collected and analyzed the relevant data, summarized fault types and the main reasons of simple elevator, proposed its main features and improvement suggestions which would provide technical basis for the relevant departments to formulate countermeasures.%为了进一步掌握在用简易升降机现有安全使用状况，全面统计分析出不同时期制造、不同使用工况下在用简易升降机存在缺陷种类及发生的故障概率，分析简易升降机发生故障的原因，本文通过对在用简易升降机定期检验发现缺陷情况、用户使用调查情况、维保单位故障维修情况及典型设备使用跟踪情况等四大方面进行相关数据的深入汇总分析，总结了在用简易升降机故障表现种类及形成的主要原因，提出了在用简易升降机主要特点及改进建议，为相关部门制定对策提供了技术依据。
