Brain metastasis is a major clinical prognosis factor for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Now the whole brain radiotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery are common treatments of it. With the success of small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer, recent clinical researches have shown their activities against brain and leptomeningeal metastases.
