Objective The explore of effects of compound methoxyphenamine on cough following acute upper respiratory tract infections. Methods A total of 112 patients with cough subsequent to acute upper respiratory tract infections were assigned to group A and group B at random. The 60 cases in group A receieved compound methoxyphenamine as ambulatory treatment, while the 52 cases in group B received dextrome thorphan as ambulatory treatment, both for7 days. Both groups were observed for symptom scores of cough, curative effects, and adverse reactions. Results Compared with group B, group A showed significant differences in clinical efficacy ( P <0. 01 ). Varied degrees of adverse reactions were noted in both groups and disappeared once stop taking the drugs. The incidence rates of adverse reactions were not statistically different between the two groups ( P > 0. 05 ) Conclusion Compound methoxyphenamine displays better effects, lower rate of adverse reactions, and better safety in the treatment of cough following acute upper respiratory tract infection.%目的 探讨国产复方甲氧那明治疗上呼吸道感染后咳嗽的疗效.方法 将诊断为上呼吸道感染后咳嗽患者112例,随机分成两组,A组60例采用复方甲氧那明口服治疗,B组52例采用右美沙芬口服液口服治疗,疗程均为7 d,评估两组患者咳嗽症状得分,并进行临床疗效判断及观察不良反应的情况.结果 治疗后两组临床疗效比较,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.01).两组患者在治疗过程中均有不同程度的不良反应,停药后均消失,两组不良反应发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).结论 复方甲氧那明治疗上呼吸道感染后咳嗽的临床疗效较好,其不良反应发生率较低,安全性较好.
