Scientific evaluation of grassland resource sustainable utilization is important for the regional economic development and ecological civilization construction. A set of comprehensive evaluation systems of grassland re-source sustainable utilization were designed, and the evaluation model was established using system evaluation theo-ry according to the feature of grassland resource system. An empirical research was made based on grassland re-sources survey data and statistical data of Bijie city. Empirical research indicated that the model can be effectively applied to evaluate sustainable utilization of the grassland resource with high sensitivity, objectivity and scientifici-ty, which provided reasonable standard for evaluation of grassland resources sustainable utilization and decision sup-port, and can help realize the grassland resources scientifically utilization and protection.%根据草场资源系统的特点，设计草场资源可持续性利用评价体系，采用系统评价理论构建草场资源可持续利用评价模型，并利用毕节市草场资源调查数据和统计数据对评价模型进行实证研究。从草场质量、资源总量、环境治理、经济效益、社会效益5个评价指标来界定草场资源利用可持续性，首次为草场资源利用评价研究提供清晰的概念框架。实证研究表明，贵州省毕节市草场资源具有较强生产力和较好生产质量，可持续利用取得较好经济和社会效益，但是其环境治理指标有一定起伏，资源总量指标持续下降，因而还需采取合理的开发治理策略，将草场资源保护和科学利用有机结合起来，才能真正实现草场资源的可持续利用。实证也表明评价模型具有较高敏感性、客观性、科学性，可有效应用于草场资源可持续利用的评价，为草场资源利用评价实践提供了合理的考核与计量标准。
