This article interpreted the related concept of geographical indications, regional economic concepts and their relations, analyzed the important role of protecting geographical indications of agricultural products for promoting regional agriculture and rural economic development, and finally put forward some suggestions.%该文从地理标志、区域、区域经济等相关概念及其内涵着手,旨在分析概念之间的相关联系,据此分析研究实施地理标志农产品保护对促进区域农业农村经济发展的重要作用,并提出实施农产品地理标志保护促进区域农村经济发展的主要建议.
