Objective : To investigate the etiology , diagnosis , and treatment of gastrointestinal failure after abdominal operation .Methods : The clinical data of 27 patients with gastrointestinal failure after abdominal operation during Jun .2010 and Jun .2014 were summarized .The temperature ,the amount of gastrointestinal decompression ,abdominal signs ,the amount of hematemesis and hematochezia were observed and the etiology ,symptoms and treatment were analyzed .Results :All the 27 cases met the diagnostic criterion of gastrointestinal failure ,the abdominal pain ,abdominal distension ,diarrhea ,decreased bowel sounds ,food intolerance more than 5 days ,which appeared at early stage after abdominal operation , and the stress ulcer bleeding and acute cholecystitis which occurred as the disease progressed .With comprehensive treatment measures ,22 patients were cured ,and 5 patients died of multiple organ failure .Conclusions : The gastrointestinal failure may occur after various abdominal operations .If active and comprehensive treatment measures were taken ,more than 80% of the patients would be cured .%目的：探讨腹部手术后胃肠功能衰竭的病因、诊断及治疗方法。方法：总结2010年6月—2014年6月27例腹部手术后发生胃肠功能衰竭患者的临床资料，观察患者体温、胃肠减压的引流量、腹部体征、呕血及便血量，分析其发病原因、症状及诊治情况。结果：27例患者均符合胃肠功能衰竭的诊断标准，即腹部手术后早期出现腹痛、腹胀、腹泻、肠鸣音减弱、不耐受食物5 d 以上，随着病情发展出现应激性溃疡出血与急性胆囊炎。经多种综合治疗措施，22例患者治愈，5例患者因多功能脏器衰竭死亡。结论：胃肠功能衰竭可以发生在腹部各种大手术后，只要采取积极的综合治疗措施，80％以上的患者能够治愈。
