AIM:To analyze the difference of Angle's malocclusion types and saggital skeletal patterns be-tween orthodontic patients with and without periodontal diseases.METHODS:337 orthodontic patients without perio-dontal disease and 90 cases with periodontal diseases treated by fixed appliances were selected.Data analysis of Angle′s classifications of malocclusion,saggital skeletal patterns were achieved by chi-squared statistic of SPSS16.0. RESULTS:In the types of malocclusion,periodontally healthy patients mainly had Angle′s Class I malocclusion (47.5%),while the patients with periodontal disease mainly had Angle's Class Ⅱ malocclusion (52.3%) (P<0.05 ). No remarkable correlation between periodontal disease and saggital skeletal pattern was found (P>0.05).CONCLUSION:Periodontally healthy and diseased orthoontic patients have different Angle's malocclu-sion types.%目的：分析正畸矫治的牙周病与牙周健康患者在安氏分类、矢状骨面型方面的异同。方法：对427例正畸患者（牙周病占90例）的错牙合类型、矢状骨面型进行数据统计，并用SPSS 16．0统计学软件进行卡方检验。结果：①在错牙合类型上，牙周健康组以安氏Ⅰ类错牙合为主（47．5％），而牙周病组以安氏Ⅱ类错牙合为主（52．3％），两者相比有统计学差异（P＜0．05）；②牙周病与矢状骨面型之间无显著的相关关系。结论：进行正畸治疗的牙周健康者以安氏Ⅰ类错牙合为主，而牙周病组错牙合畸形主要是安氏Ⅱ类。
