Objective To investigate the expression of SP1 in human colorectal cancer tissues and normal colorectal tissues, the relationship of SP1 with biological behavior and prognosis.Methods The expression of SP1 in 205 cases of colorectal cancer with various clinico-pathologic characteristics, and 50 normal colorectal tissues specimens were detected by using immunohistochemistry.The relationship of SP1 expression with the biological behavior and prognosis was evaluated.Results The expression rate of SP1 in normal colorectal tissues was 12.0％ (6/50), and it was weak expression.The expression rate of SP1 in colorectal cancer lesions was 75.6％ (155/205).Expression of SP1 was closely related to the depth of tumor invasion and histological types ( P ＜ 0.05 ), but not related to the number of metastatic lymph nodes, stage and cell differentiation (P ＞ 0.05).The medium survival time in patients who had a tumor with negative, weak, positive and strong SP1 expression were 64.9, 56.6, 41.5 and 36.4 months, respectively (P ＜ 0.001 ).Conclusion The expression of SP1 was related to the depth of tumor invasion and histological types.SP1 may be served as an independent prognostic factor of colorectal cancer.%目的 研究SP1基因在大肠癌及癌旁正常组织中的表达,并探讨其与大肠癌生物学行为及预后的关系.方法 应用免疫组织化学方法,检测205例大肠癌原发灶及50例癌旁正常组织中SP1基因的表达情况,观察其表达与大肠癌生物学行为及预后的关系.结果 大肠癌旁正常组织中SP1表达阳性率仅为12.0%(6/50),且均为弱阳性表达.SP1在大肠癌组织中阳性表达率为75.6%(155/205).SP1表达水平与肿瘤浸润深度和病理分型密切相关(P＜0.05),而与肿瘤分期、淋巴结转移和肿瘤分化程度无关(P＞0.05).SP1表达阴性组、弱阳性组、阳性组和强阳性组患者平均生存时间分别为64.9、56.6、41.5和36.4个月,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.01).结论 SP1表达水平与大肠癌浸润深度和病理分型密切相关,并可作为判断大肠癌患者预后的重要指标之一.
