Objective To design a nosocomial infection control quality improvement checklist in ICU,in order to improve the quality of nursing and ensure the patients' safety. Methods A new ICU nosocomial infection control quality improvement checklist was designed and applied in the quality control of critically ill patients from April to June 2012. Results After application of the checklist,the percentages of patients with central venous catheters,trachea! intubation and urinary catheters were significantly decreased (P<0.01 or P<0.05). The rates of ventilator associated pneumonia and catheter-related blood stream infection were significantly decreased (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the rate of catheter-associated urinary tract infection(ft>0.05). Conclusion The application of nosocomial infection control checklist for critically ill patients can effectively improve the quality of nosocomial infection control in ICU.%目的 通过设计ICU医院感染控制质量查检单(简称查检单),指导医护人员在临床实践中进行质量查检,以提高监护质量,保证患者安全.方法 2012年4～6月,将查检单应用于ICU的危重患者,对重症患者的医院感染预防控制措施进行每日查检,观察中心静脉导管、呼吸机插管及留置导尿管的导管使用率及每千导管日感染率. 结果 使用查检单干预后,中心静脉导管使用率、呼吸机插管及留置导尿管使用率下降,与干预前比较,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.01或P＜0.05).呼吸机插管及中心静脉导管每千导管日感染率下降,与干预前比较,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05).留置导尿管每千导管日感染率与干预前比较,差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05).结论 应用ICU医院感染控制查检单,有助于提高ICU的医院感染控制质量.
