Objectives By analyzing the members' benefits from the new rural cooperative medical insurance to provide the scientific data and the framework of the medical management and reforms. Methods Quantitative in vestigation was conducted at 6 countries in Xinjiang. Results Since the implementation of the New Rural Coopera tive Medical Insurance System, the quantity of individual members who participate in the welfare system increased to 99. 26% till 2009. The fund raised by 262. 02% in 2009, of which the investment from the government accounted for 2/3 and 1/3 came from the individuals: The hospitalization numbers and compensation raised by 154. 18% and 386. 15% respectively, which ratio shows 58. 64% higher. The out patient services amount and compensation in creasedlO. 76% and 18. 87%, while the ratio decreased 54. 70%. Conclusions The peasants have benefited from the system considerably. The hospitalization compensation is higher than that from the clinic, it's necessary to in creasing the rate of compensation for cases and to improve the peasant members' medical insurance system.%目的 了解新疆新型农牧区合作医疗参合农牧民受益情况,为卫生管理机构加强农村卫生宏观管理提供科学依据.方法 从新疆最早试点的13个县中,随机抽取6个县进行定量调查.结果 2009年新疆6个县农牧民参合率为99.26％;2009年较2005年筹资总额增加262.02％,政府筹资占2/3,其他筹资占1/3；住院补偿人次和补偿费分别增加154.18％、386.15％,住院补偿比提高58.64％；门诊补偿人次与补偿费分别增加10.76％、18.87％,而门诊补偿比下降54.70％.结论 新疆6个县参合农牧民住院、门诊受益情况均有大幅度提高,住院补偿比高于门诊补偿比,故应提高常见病和多发病补偿比例,从根本上改善农牧民的医疗保障状况.
