Through combining and transforming traditional structural sys-tem, Steven Holl expresses clearly the overall spatial structure system of architectures. Through combing the logic of structural mechanics and that of morphology, the beauty of structure is incisively presented, and through hiding the joint nodes of structural elements and elaborately treating the struc-tural skin, the beauty of overall structural simplicity is perfectly presented. By combining architectural form and structural form to express architectural thoughts, Steven Holl provides another idea for architectural design.
