This paper introduced two quality indexes of polyacrylamide(molecular weight and degree of hydrolysis) and their effects on flocculation and settling,and according to the GB17514 Water treatment chemicals-Polyacrylamide, the quality of sample provided by supplier was tested,at the same time,the laboratory slurry flocculation and settling test was done,the regulations between molecular weight,degree of hydrolysis and clarifying water quality were verified,a regression equation with extremely good significance was obtained.%重点介绍聚丙烯酰胺的分子量和水解度两项质量指标及其对絮凝沉降的影响，并按GB17514《水处理剂聚丙烯酰胺》检测供货商提供的样品质量，同时进行实验室煤泥水的絮凝沉降试验，验证了分子量和水解度与澄清水水质之间的规律，得到了显著性极为良好的回归方程。
