基于用户统计的 OTT TV 存储分发策略改进

         

摘要

OTT TV 作为基于开放互联网的视频服务,能够直接将视频内容提供给最终用户,有着很大的优势。但 OTT TV 在网络传输中视频的存储分发方式是影响其质量的主要原因之一。在分析 OTT TV 系统的存储分发策略后,通过对大量用户视频访问数据的研究,用齐普夫定律验证了用户对视频的访问集中在少部分的视频上。在此基础上通过统计用户对视频的访问情况,得到“热点”视频,对 OTT TV 的存储分发策略进行改进。实验验证系统的平均响应时间缩短并且存储所占用的空间大大减少。%OTT TV,as a video service which is based on the open Internet,can directly offer the video content to end users,and has great advantage.However the storage and distribution mode of OTT TV video in network transmission is one of the major causes impacting its quality.In this paper we analysed the storage and distribution strategy of OTT TV system,and by studying a large number of users’video access data,we verified using Zipf’s law that the video access of users focus on a small part of videos.Based on this and through the statistics of users’video access situation we obtained the “hot videos”list,and then improved the OTT TV’s storage and distribution strategy.It was verified by the experiment that the average response time of the system was cut down and the storage space was reduced greatly as well.
