According to Chinese current national and industry standards of the industrial metal pipeline category and grade hierarchies, considering the long-term used standards and habitual classification methods in history, the grade and classification of the industrial metal pipelines were comprehensively introduced based on introduction of the classification of the pipeline transport medium risk, the engineering application instances were discussed.%依据我国现行有兲工业金属管道类别级别划分的国家和行业法规、标准，兼顾历史上长期使用的标准和习惯性的分类方法，在简要介绍管道输送介质危险性分类的基础上，对工业金属管道的分类分级进行全面介绍，并给出工程应用实例。
