Along with the separation of the mental labor and material labor , the teaching profession gained independence . Besides , with the social development and labor differentiation , the teaching profession tends to be more and more specialized . Professional teachers are persons w ho have legitimate monopoly of education expertise , highly efficient operation of the educational activities , and the effective executors of duties in the hierarchical organization of education .
