The GRQR being a specific non-Ω-transfonnable region is the intersection of a ring with a horizontal strip in the left half-plane. From experiments it is known that the control system with poles located in this specific region provides a good flight performance for aircrafts. The Rayleigh principle along with the norm theory is applied to amlyze the problem, since the generalized Lyapunov theory is not suitable for non-Ω-transformable regiom. The uncertainties of main concern are umtmctared, and the obtained results may be applied to robustness amlysis for aircrafts, shuttles, and space stations. An example is given to illustrate the results for a perturbed closed-loop system matrix of an aircraft approximation model.
