In 2004, Singapore performed quite well in its internal and foreign affairs. In politics, powers were transferred smoothly, anti-terrorism was accelerated and the harmonious and stable society was assured. In economy, its growth rate reached 8.4% and in diplomacy, it positively participated in ASEAN and international affairs and played a more positive role.
