The third bridge on the Qiantang River,the newly-constructed No.3 QiantangBridge is 1,280 meters long and 29.50 meterswide.It has 6 traffic lanes and two nearly-2-meter-wide sidewalks.With altogether8 approaches spanning into various directionson its two ends,the bridge links theparadise city of Hangzhou on the north andXixing Town right on the south.Its two silverwhitebridgeheads,both over 100 metershigh,tower aloft symmetrically over the river,from which extend downward all the orangecolored cables.Reflecting the featuresof our age,it has actually become a newscenic spot in Hangzhou.
