Basing on the 《Technical code for design of thermal power plant air & flue gas ducts / raw coal &pulverized coal piping》and it’s calculation method, this article present the earthquake load calculation manner for selection of rectangular air & flue gas duct stiffener, analyse the earthquake load influence on duct stiffener selection, present conclusion and suggestion.% 根据《火力发电厂烟风煤粉管道设计技术规程》及其配套设计计算方法，提出矩形烟风道加固肋选型时地震荷载的计算方法，并把地震荷载参与到加固肋选型计算中，根据计算结果，分析地震荷载对矩形烟风道加固肋选型的影响，提出结论及参考意见。
