To improve the environment pollution prevention ability of electroplating industry, not only should advanced hardware, including production equipments and pollution facilities, be emphasized, but also some software such as enterprise management should be focused on. The problems existing in the construction of environmental management system were presented. The principles and key items of the construction of environmental management system, as well as some problems needed to be aware of were expounded from both enterprise itself and supervisory department of the government.
