OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of Tanreqing injection for senile pulmonary infection and explore the clinical nursing care for the patients with senile pulmonary infection.METHODS: Between January 2014 and January 2015 , a total of 50 senile patients with pulmonary infection were randomized to either observation group receiving Tanreqing plus routine therapy or control group( routine therapy alone) of 25 cases each.The clinical curative efficacy and nursing care outcome in the two groups were evaluated.RESULTS: The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group [88.00%(22/25 vs.64.00%(16/25)],and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) .CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of elderly pulmonary infection with routine antibiotic drugs plus Tanreqing injection by atomization inhalation is safe and effective,and greater outcome can be achieved if with proper clinical nursing care.%目的：探讨痰热清注射液治疗老年肺部感染的疗效与临床护理措施。方法：将2014年1月—2015年1月在梅州市五华县人民医院接受治疗的50例老年肺部感染患者，以随机数字表法分为观察组25例（在常规治疗基础上给予痰热清注射液治疗）和对照组25例（单纯给予常规治疗），对比观察2组患者的临床疗效及护理效果。结果：观察组患者的总有效率为88．00％（22／25），明显高于对照组的64．00％（16／25），差异有统计学意义（P＜0．05）。结论：常规抗菌药物与雾化吸入痰热清注射液联合治疗老年肺部感染，疗效好、安全性高，若能在此基础上进一步加强临床护理，将收到更大成效。
