OBJECTIVE: To probe into the role of clinical pharmacists in pharmaceutical care for patients with urinary sepsis induced by Veillonella parvula. METHODS: Clinical pharmacists participated into the treatment of urinary sepsis after ureteral stent removal in patients with cervical cancer, assisted the clinicians in formulating and evaluating anti-infection treatment regimen, conducted pharmaceutical care for the patient, and provided perioperative preventive suggestions for urinary tract infection by consulting relevant literature and guidelines. RESULTS: The clinicians adopted the recommendations of the clinical pharmacists. After 4 d of treatment, the patient's symptoms and body temperature improved significantly. After 7 d of treatment, the patient was discharged with good infection control. CONCLUSIONS: As a member of the clinical treatment team, clinical pharmacists assist clinicians in drug treatment decisions and pharmaceutical care, which can promote the safety, economy and effectiveness of drug use.%目的:探讨临床药师对小韦荣球菌致尿源性脓毒血症患者实施药学监护的作用.方法:临床药师参与1例宫颈癌患者输尿管支架取出术后继发尿源性脓毒血症的治疗, 协助医师制订和评估抗感染治疗方案, 对患者进行药学监护, 并通过查阅相关文献和指南, 为临床提供围术期预防尿路感染的建议.结果:医师采纳临床药师建议, 治疗4 d后患者症状、体温明显好转, 治疗7 d后感染控制良好出院.结论:临床药师作为临床治疗团队中的一员, 协助医师进行药物治疗决策及药学监护, 可促进患者用药安全、经济和有效.
