The experimental teaching is the joint of theory and practice ,and is a good way to deepen the teaching contents .In the teaching experiments for hydraulic undergraduate students ,the measurement of soil water characteristic curve and soil specific yield is designed as a comprehensive experiment .For the students to understand the basic concepts and the mutual transformation relationship ,the experiment contents are enriched ,the interests of experimental courses are increased ,and the efficiency of the experiment is improved .%教学实验是理论与实际的结合点，是深化教学内容的重要途径。传统实验教学验证性实验较多，缺少设计性、综合性和研究性。在水利专业本科生教学实验中，将土壤水分特征曲线与土层给水度2个具有内在联系的测定实验，设计为一个综合型的整体实验，加深了学生对基本概念及其相互间转化关系的理解，丰富了实验内容，增加了实验课程的趣味性，提高了实验效率。
