Objective To investigate the correlation between circulating tumor cells ( CTCs) CTCs and clinico-pathological characteristics in operable breast cancer patients .Methods From January 2009 to January 2016, 126 oper-able breast cancer patients in Guangdong General Hospital were enrolled in this study .Samples of peripheral blood (7.5 mL) were collected for detection of CTCs using the CellSearch System .The correlation between CTCs and clinicopathologi-cal characteristics in operable breast cancer patients was analyzed .Results The CTCpositive rate in patients with operable breast cancer was 7.1%(9/126).Ki67 in CTCs positive and negative group were 51 ±20%and 33 ±23%, respective-ly, with statistically significant difference (P=0.04).The CTCpositive rates in operable breast cancer patients showed no significant difference among the different subgroups with regards to menopausal status , tumor size, lymph node stage, AJCC stage, histological grade, histological type, hormone receptor(ER) status,progestogen receptor (PR), status hu-man epithelial growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expression,or molecular types.Conclusion CTCs aredetected in 7.1%operable breast cancer patients .Ki67 is the sole primary tumor characteristic that correlates with the presence of CTCs in operable breast cancer patients .Long-term follow-up will be required to investigate the relationship between CTCs and prognosis in operable breast cancer .%目的：探讨循环肿瘤细胞（ CTCs ）在可手术乳腺癌患者外周血中的水平及与可手术乳腺癌患者临床病理特征的关系。方法收集T2～4 N0～3 M0可手术乳腺癌患者126例。抽取入组患者7.5 mL外周血，使用CellSearch系统检测CTCs。分析CTCs与可手术乳腺癌患者临床病理特征的关系。结果在126例患者中，有9例患者检测到CTCs，检出率为7.1％。 CTCs阳性组的Ki67为（51±20）％，CTCs阴性组的Ki67为（33±23）％（ P＝0.04）。可手术乳腺癌患者外周血检出CTCs与患者年龄、月经状态、肿块大小、淋巴结状态、AJCC分期、病理类型、病理学分级、ER、PR、HER2状态以及分子分型无关。结论7.1％的可手术乳腺癌患者检测到CTCs，CTCs与Ki67相关。
