The Shima River Basin suffered an extreme heavy rainstorm on May 11, 2014, which caused a flood in the basin of Shima River.The rainstorm flood and reasons for the flood have been analyzed .The results show that the “2014.05.11” heavy rainstorm had high rainfall intensity and concentrated spatial and temporal distribution , and the flood was dually composed by interval flood within Dongguan and Guanlan water from Shenzhen .Heavy rainfall , urban construction within the basin and backward water conservancy infrastructure construction of Shima River in Dongguan are major reasons for the flood .%2014年5月11日，石马河流域遭遇特大暴雨，暴雨造成石马河流域发生洪灾。对该次暴雨洪水及洪灾成因进行分析，结果表明，“2014．05．11”暴雨降雨强度大且时空分配集中，洪水主要由东莞境内区间洪水与深圳观澜水叠加组成，强降雨、流域内城市化建设及东莞市石马河水利基础建设滞后是导致洪灾发生的主要原因。
