通过查阅国内外最近几年文献资料并进行总结，对红背叶化学成分及主要成分的提取分离、有效成分、药理作用的研究进展进行综述，为进一步的临床应用及药物开发利用提供参考。红背叶中主要含有黄酮类、生物碱、萜类、酚类等化学成分，对肝脏系统、中枢神经系统、免疫系统等多方面均有治疗作用，具有抗菌、抗炎、抗肝损伤、抗艾滋病毒及抗肿瘤等多种药理活性。为此，研究其开发利用具有广阔的应用前景。%To provide a reference for further clinical application and drug development, the chemical composition and the research development of the extraction, separation, active composition and pharmacological effects were reviewed in Alchornea trewioides( Benth) Muell. -Arg. There were main chemical components of flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, phenols on it, meanwhile, remedial effects were found on the liver system, central nervous system, immune system and other aspects. In terms of pharmacological activities, it had many properties of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-hepatic injury, anti-HIV, anti-tumor, and so on. Herein, it had broad application prospects to study the development and utilization on Alchornea trewioides( Benth) Muell.-Arg.
