Objective To study the curative effect of the metformin and acarbose combined in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 100 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into two groups, each 50 cases in each group. The control group treated with metformin, the observation group treated with metformin and acarbose combined. Two groups of patients with clinical efficacy and side effects were compared. Results Observation group of the total effective rate was 94.0%, control group total effective rate was 68.0%, observation group of total effective was obviously better than control group (P<0.05); two groups had two patients with side effects, and comparison between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05). Conclusion The metformin and acarbose combined in treatment of type 2 diabetes had obvious therapeutic effect, and it was for clinical reference.%目的：探讨二甲双胍联合阿卡波糖治疗2型糖尿病的临床疗效。方法选取100例2型糖尿病患者随机分为对照组和观察组，各50例，对照组给予二甲双胍治疗，观察组给予二甲双胍联合阿卡波糖治疗，比较两组患者临床疗效及不良反应。结果观察组总有效率为94.0%，对照组总有效率为68.0%，观察组总有效率明显优于对照组（P<0.05）；两组患者均有2例患者出现不良反应，两组之间比较没有统计学意义（P＞0.05）。结论二甲双胍联合阿卡波糖治疗2型糖尿病疗效显著，可供临床参考。
