Based on various applications of pulleys of the belt conveyor,the application mechanism and stress proper-ty of the pulley of the belt conveyor are summarized in the paper,for the purpose of optimal design of bend pulley struc-ture.The finite element analysis is performed for the optimized design result with the aid of Ansys Workbench13.0,which shows great effect of optimal design,and realizes the optimal structure.The new designed structure provides guidance for production practice.%基于大量带式输送机滚筒应用的实例，总结了带式输送机滚筒的应用机理和受力特点，对改向滚筒结构进行优化设计，借助Ansys Workbench13.0分析软件，对优化设计结果进行了有限元分析，分析结果显示优化设计效果明显，达到了优化结构的目的，新型结构的设计对生产实际具有指导意义。
