Methods: To develop evaluation index system and set up evaluation team. To evaluate by means of theory and technique test, personal talk, shock train-ing, consulting note and gauge survey. Results: Some faults of military surgeon are found, such as the lack of battle preparation thought, low military quality, lake of special medicine knowledge and mentality care technique, etc. Conclusion: It is the evaluation index system that is important to access and improve the medical support capacity of field medical station.
