Objective To explore the effect of process reengineering on intervening nosocomial infection in operation room.Methods Control group consisted of 648 patients who received operation in the period of traditional management from January to December 2012 and observation group consisted of 692 patients who received operation after the implementation of process reengineering from January to December 2013. The qualified rate of sterilization and the infection rate of patients in the two groups were compared.Results The qualified rate of sterilization in observation group (96.33%) was higher than that of control group (85.50%), and the infection rate of patients in observation group (9.72%) was lower than that of control group (3.03%). The differences of the two indicators mentioned above were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Operation Room is an important area of the nosocomial infection prevention. The implementation of process reengineering in operation room can optimize the workflow and reduce the infection rate effectively.%目的探讨应用流程再造管理方法干预手术室医院感染的效果。方法以采取传统管理期间（2012年1-12月）手术患者为对照组（648例）；以实施流程再造管理以后（2013年1-12月）手术患者为观察组（692例），对比两组的灭菌合格率和患者感染率。结果观察组灭菌合格率（96.33%）高于对照组（85.50%），观察组感染率（3.03%）低于对照组（9.72%），上述两项指标差异均有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论手术室是医院感染的防控重点，进行手术流程再造，优化手术室工作流程，能够有效降低感染率。
