Magnetization phenomenon is found in the homemade high strength steel plates used in the welding of steel penstocks in Hohhot pumped storage power station .Causes for such magnetization problem of steel plates are analyzed and demagnetization methods are discussed .Practice shows that the demagnetization methods are effective .And the pen-stocks are successfully welded after the steel plates are demagnetized .%介绍了呼和浩特抽水蓄能电站压力钢管焊接工程使用的国产高强钢板产生磁化现象，通过对钢板产生磁化的原因分析及消磁方法的探讨，成功地实现了磁化钢板的消磁，实现了对磁化钢板消磁后的焊接施工。
