The US DoD has introduced Electronic Commerce and related technologies into their defense procurement reform. This proves to be more efficient and economic, and has laid foundation for the realization of paperless procurement. By analyzing the US DoD experiment, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of introducing Electronic Commerce technologies into China's weaponry construction step by step.
