[ Objective] The research aimed to improve the hybrid seed yield of Haimi No. 6. [ Method] The female and male plant of Haimi No. 6 were appHed 0.1% and 0.2% boron fertilizer respectively, with spraying water as control. The effects of boron fertilizer on melon hybrid seed production were studied. [Result] A certain concentration of boron fertilizer sprayed on the female plant could reduce fruit section, increase fruit plump seed grain number, and improve the viability of seeds. 0.2% fertilizer could significantly increase the seed yield. A certain concentration of boron fertilizer sprayed on the paternal plant could effectively promote the pollen germination, improve fruit setting ability, increased female fruit plump seed grain number, and improve the viability of seeds. 0. 2% fertilizer could significantly increase the yield of hybrid seed production. [ Conclusion] The application of boron fertilizer could effectively improve the yield of seed production.%[目的]为提高海蜜6号母本制种产量.[方法]分别在海蜜6号母本、父本植株上施用0.1%、0.2%2个水平的硼肥,以喷施清水为对照,研究喷施硼肥对甜瓜制种的影响.[结果]在母本植株上喷施一定浓度的硼肥可以降低果实留果节位,增加单果饱满种子粒数,提高种子饱满率;施用0.2%硼肥能显著增加制种产量.父本植株喷施一定浓度的硼肥,能够有效促进花粉萌发,提高母本坐果能力,增加母本单果饱满种子粒数,提高种子饱满率;施用0.2%硼肥能显著增加杂交制种产量.[结论]喷施硼肥能够有效提高制种产量.
