The soluble multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) is prepared by heating the mixture of original MWNT with concentrated nitric acid. The acid-treated MWNTs can be dispersed into water to form very stable black aqueous colloids with the help of ultrasonication. The interaction of MWNTs colloid with cationic dye Nile Blue results in the adsorption of of Nile Blue on the surface of collidal particles, which is proved by the changes of UV-Vis and Fluorescence spectra. The adsorption action leads to the coagulation of the sol and the coagulate is characterized by electrochemistry. The results show that Nile Blue is adsorbed on the surface of MWNT colliodal particles through both electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction.%用加热多壁碳管与浓硝酸混合物的方法制备了可溶性的多壁碳管.在超声作用的帮助下可以把这种酸处理的多壁碳管分散在水中形成一种黑色的水溶胶.此水溶胶可以与阳离子染料耐尔蓝发生相互作用,紫外和荧光光谱的变化表明这种作用的结果是耐尔蓝吸附于胶粒表面;进而导致溶胶出现共聚现象,并且用电化学方法表征了共聚物.实验结果显示耐尔蓝通过静电作用和疏水作用吸附于多壁碳管胶粒表面.
