This paper introduces a kind of special cyclic codes over the ring Z 4 ,whose images under the map øμ are all binary cyclic codes.Moreover, it presents the relation of period distributions between the two kinds of cyclic codes,and establishes the ex-act relational formulas.% 本文介绍了一类特殊的 Z4-循环码，其在映射øμ下的象为二元循环码，揭示了这两类循环码的周期分布之间的关系，并给出了精确的关系式。
