Qingshui River, the second longest river in Guizhou province, flows through many counties and cities in southeastern part of Guizhou province. It was a major eastern gate to the outside part of the province because it was characterized by its convenience as a natural channel. The development and utilization of the channel was of great value to the historical development of Qingshui River region and Guizhou province. Hence, this paper tried to make clear about its historical development, which plays a significant role in researching the formation of valley civilization and the historical development of Guizhou province.%清水江是贵州省第二大河流，流域遍布省东南部多个县市，其天然便利的水运条件曾被人们广泛利用，因而使之成为了省境东大门的重要交通通道。清水江航道的开发与利用，对清水江流域地区以及贵州省的历史发展都产生过重大的作用。梳理其开发历史，对我们进一步认识流域文明与贵州历史发展有着重要意义。
