清末民初佛教出现全面复兴的景象，引起学者对佛经的研究兴趣。梁启超是兼治佛学的代表人物之一，通过研究佛经目录，他提出了独到的见解：佛经目录有历史观念发达、辨别真伪严格、审慎、搜采遗逸甚勤和分类复杂完备等五个优点；佛经目录引导佛经的编纂和新目录体例的产生，引起学人对佛经史料的注意。这些思想犹如一盏明灯，引领后学研究佛经并开出硕果，至今仍有重要的参考价值。%In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, Buddhism was resurgent, which drew scholars＇ interest to Buddhist sutra. As one of the representative figures, Liang Qichao studied Buddhist scriptures concurrently and put forward original views. Buddhist sutra catalogues had five advantages, such as developed historical ideas, strict distinction, caution, guiding scripture compilation, complex complete classification. Buddhist catalogue guided compilation of Buddhist scriptures and led a new generation styles of catalogue, brought scholars＇ attention to Buddhist data as well. Liang Qichao＇ s views of Buddhist catalogue which led the researches into Buddhist scriptures and achievements is still of great referential value.
